CS43198 DAC with High-Res Decoding
At the heart of the M198C lies the CS43198 DAC chip, supporting PCM up to 384kHz/32bit and native DSD256 decoding. Paired with a high-performance USB audio bridge chip, it ensures accurate digital-to-analog conversion and supports in-line controls and microphone functionality with excellent signal integrity.
Custom 5N OCC Upgrade Cable
The M198C inherits the wire architecture of DDHIFI's flagship Nyx Net cable. It uses high-purity 5N OCC copper, braided for stability and softness. The nylon-braided jacket is both durable and supple, balancing performance and portability for daily use or professional monitoring.
Durable CNC-Machined Components
Every major hardware piece—the USB plug, Y-split, and earphone connectors—is CNC-machined from solid aluminum alloy. This not only adds rugged durability, but also offers better shielding and a sleek, cohesive aesthetic.
