Excellent XMOS XU208 Decoding Chip & Four Crystal Oscillators
Trasam DS3 employs an excellent XU208 USB processor chipset from XMOS Technologies, allowing for clear transmission of high-resolution audio signals via the input port and handing them over to the DAC chipset. With the help of this USB Chip, the DS3 can decode high-resolution 24-Bit/384kHz PCM and native DSD512 signals. Besides, it also comes with four crystal oscillators to cooperate with the chipset in this device.
CRS8675 Bluetooth Chip & Powerful LDAC Transmission
Featuring the CRS8675 Bluetooth chip, which supports Bluetooth protocols such as LDAC/APTX-HD/APTX/AAC/SBC, Trasam DS3 follows the LDAC transmission, whose code rate reaches 990KBPS, and sampling rate is 96K. The sampling rate supports the current CD, which is only 44K, making it possible to experience lossless audio with Bluetooth.
